Kinetic porcelain vase (2006) by Eric James Mellon

A turned, porcelain 'kinetic' vase 11.5cm high, 10.5 cm diameter.
 
Mellon used pear ash for these pots because they moved well, but not quite as fluid as apple ash glazes.
 
Pear glaze also has added calcium in the form of whiting. Ref 06/128 - 2006
